GENERAL
AINÉRA FEST 2026 is India's premier AI Creator & Fashion Innovation Summit. The theme is 'The New Creator Paradigm – Humans × AI → Infinite Creativity'. A three-day festival featuring AI Film Competition, AI Fashion Ramp Walk, AI Creator Battles, and AI Music Night.
AINÉRA 2026 takes place in December 2026 (first week). Venue is TBD and will be announced to registered participants first. The festival includes screenings, exhibitions, workshops, and a grand finale with over ₹11 lakhs in cash prizes.
AI FILM COMPETITION
Films must be 15-20 minutes with a mandatory 30-40 second trailer. Teams of 1-5 members. Submit: Full film (4K preferred), Trailer, Behind-the-Scenes doc (max 4 pages), Tool breakdown sheet, and Ethics statement. Top 25 films accepted, top 8 screened on main stage.
Choose one: Dystopian + Sci-Fi (Dune, Kalki style), India – Culture + Modern, Last Day (World ending in 24h), Memory & Identity, or Parallel Selves. Each theme explores deep questions about humanity, technology, and existence.
Video: Runway Gen-2, Pika, Sora, Kling, Haiper. Images: Midjourney, DALL-E 3, Stable Diffusion. Audio: ElevenLabs, Suno, Udio. Music: Soundraw, AIVA. Editing: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve. Bonus points for custom fine-tuned models (LoRA, DreamBooth).
Best AI Film: ₹3,00,000 ($3,530) + NVIDIA Studio laptop + OTT Distribution Deal + Shekhar Kapur mentorship. 1st Runner Up: ₹1,50,000 + OTT Deal. 2nd Runner Up: ₹75,000 + OTT Deal. People's Choice: ₹50,000. Best Trailer: ₹25,000. All top 8 get 1-year software subscriptions.
AI FASHION & CREATOR BATTLES
Create an AI character universe with a digital model, backstory, and 5-10 outfit designs. Teams of 1-3. Submit: AI Model Concept, Outfit designs, Walk sequence video (30+ sec), and Technical breakdown. Top 12 entries perform on LED runway. Prizes: Best Model ₹2,00,000 + NVIDIA laptop.
16 creators compete in single-elimination bracket. Each battle: 10 minutes to complete a challenge. Types: Prompt Battle (same text prompt, best image wins) and Style Transfer Battle (transform source image to target style). Champion wins ₹1,50,000 + software bundle. Runner up: ₹75,000.
SUBMISSION TIMELINE
Open call: August 1, 2026. Submission deadline: October 15, 2026. Jury shortlisting: November 1, 2026. Notifications: November 10, 2026. Final assets due: November 25, 2026. Festival: First week of December 2026.
Submission is free. Premium passes with exclusive workshop access and networking events will be available at a nominal fee for attendees who are not selected as finalists.
